PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT - Digiverse

 DIGIVERSE WORKSHOP

The Importance of Professional Development for Educators

If there is one thing education leaders agree can improve classroom instruction, student learning and teacher retention all at once, it’s providing a robust professional development program.

When administrators invest in the professional development of their teachers, they are rewarded with a variety of positive outcomes within the classroom and across the entire district.

Here are Five Ways Professional Development Will Improve Teaching/Learning:

Students Have Better Learning Outcomes

Teachers Learn Better Ways to Teach.

Teachers Develop Better Organization and Planning Skills.

Teachers Gain Knowledge and Industry Insight

Teachers Want to Continue Their Education.

  1. Add-ons are tools which integrate into your browser. They're similar to regular apps or programs, but only run when the browser runs.Toolbars are another type of add-on, placing a new kind of search bar at the top of your browser window.

To add an extension and use it in Google Chrome
Open the Chrome Web Store and select Apps or Extensions from the menu.
Browse or search for what you'd like to add.
When you find an app or extension you'd like to add, select Add to Chrome.
If you're adding an extension, review the types of data that the extension will be able to access, then select Add extension.
You'll see your apps in your launcher, and your extensions in Chrome as buttons on the toolbar.
To remove an extension from Google Chrome
Open Chrome, then select the three, vertical dots next to the profile icon.
    Select More Tools > Extensions.
Next to the extension you want to remove, select Remove.
    To confirm, select Remove.
To remove an extension that's a button on the browser toolbar, right-click the button and select Remove from Chrome.
